Summer is starting to coming to a close and it’s almost time for the kids to get ready for school. As you adjust to changes in your schedule, it can be difficult to keep track of your water use. We here at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing® want to help you conserve and get the most out of your water usage during this back-to-school season.
An area that gets a lot of use this time of the year is the bathroom. Minor adjustments, like installing a low-flow showerhead, showering in the evening, shortening your shower times, and splitting up your shower times in your household are ways that you can reduce your water use.
Turn any running water off when it’s not being used directly. For example, remind your kids to turn off the faucet when they’re brushing their teeth or you can even turn off the shower while shampooing your hair.
